The PetroClean Hydrocarbon Treatment System offers a total solution for shore-side oily-water remediation.   This system was developed by EnSolve Biosystems to meet the needs of the US Navy for remediation of its inactive fleet. PetroClean is easily transportable and can be operated on a barge, weather deck of a vessel, or at any industrial application. This technology is applicable in ship scrapping facilities, ports, and oil remediation locations throughout the world.

The PetroClean system combines several components in order to remove contaminants normally found in industrial liquid waste. The system is engineered to remove or destroy oil and grease, heavy metals, glycol, solvents, BOD, COD, TSS, and other contaminants. The effluent from this system can be discharged to the appropriate receptacle or open waters as regulations allow.
